What is a special holiday?
It is an additional holiday designated for one-time observance by the governor after the schedule for the state’s 11 paid holidays has been determined. These designations are often announced by the governor within a few weeks of the extra day(s). When this occurs, the University will determine how to observe the holiday to best meet 密歇根州立大学丹佛’s needs.
